Rutgers' Hollow Glass Waveguide technology is currently liscenced to Polymicro Technologies, LLC, a leading manufacturer of silica tubing and fiber products. Polymicro recently began offering products based on HGW technology. Their infrared transmitting Hollow Silica Waveguides (HSWTM) are available for Er:YAG (2.9 µm) and CO2 (10.6 µm) laser wavelengths in a variety of sizes. Polymicro is also offering (HSWTM) custom designed for nearly any infrared application. Contact them for more details.
